Shannon Murphy is a writer and Creative Director who recently worked on New York’s "Stop the Spread" campaign with TBWA\Chiat\Day. Shannon says the most interesting part of a student portfolio? The ‘About Me’ page!

Collaboration

The writers' room is a room where TV show writers shut in and work together for 8-12 hours a day. Showrunner and executive producer Anthony Sparks says being part of a writers' room takes talent and work ethic, but it's also a very social job. TV writers need to be excited by collaboration!
