Center For Communication Event Internship

The Center for Communication is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic interns to support program staff during our events. Learn more about the industry, gain events marketing experience, and network with media professionals and like-minded students.

Interns will assist with guest check-in, event preparation, promotion at evening forums, the Center’s full-day Women + Media Career Summit, and Stanton Award Ceremony. Scheduled for a maximum of 2 days (ranging from 3-9 hours) per week. Events are not always scheduled every week.

FOX 5-WNYW 6 Month Training Program

The FOX 5-WNYW 6 Month Training Program is now accepting applications. The program is open for College Graduates interested in obtaining valuable experience in the various fields of Television Broadcasting. This training program requires no previous broadcast work experience.

The Six Month Training Program is offered in the following departments:

  • "Good Day New York"


Scholastic Assistant Production Editor

Scholastic is hiring an assistant PE for SMOR publishing supporting the production of school market–only novelty items, book-plus products, and paperback books.

Education: BA degree in English, Communications, or a relevant field

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • With Associate Production Director’s oversight, review and route passes of covers, interiors, and novelty components.

  • For complex titles, work with manager on specialized processes or schedules.

  • Create one biweekly status report and lead a team status meeting, with manager’s support.


Warner Bros. Discovery Access Writers Program

The 2026 Warner Bros. Discovery Access Writers Program provides a pathway for writers who face inherent barriers entering the episodic television writing space. Such barriers can be due to, but not limited to, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veterans status, socio-economic status or any other unintended barriers. Selected writers will undergo an extensive creative and business curriculum before being put up for staffing opportunities across WBD.
